I missed Car Bomb. They were handing out free download codes, so I'll check them out and maybe end up bummed I didn't see them.
The Chariot will likely hurt someone very soon with their on-stage antics, and it will be the bass player's fault. He looked like Zach Galifianakis. Very entertaining. Best part was the singer-to-Zach Galifianakis bass toss across the stage.
Gojira. Killed. It. They are easily the heaviest band that ever existed. Check out the video below from Metal Injection, put 50 lbs on your chest, and then you might get an idea of how brutal they were. Noticeably absent was anything off of The Link. What's that all about, guys? Can you play "Indians" next time? Merci beaucoup.
I also purchased a sweet t-shirt. What a great night! Please go see this band.
